In this roundup, you’ll find news, events, section updates, and resources that relate to privacy, restrictions, and confidentiality in archives. If you have any privacy and confidentiality related news, events, or resources to share, let us know! We can add it to next month’s News Roundup. Email us at SAAPrivacy@gmail.com.
Section updates
- We’re still seeking presenters for our Digital Tools for Privacy and Confidentiality series. If you have experience using digital tools with privacy and confidentiality applications in your archival work, and would be interested in hosting or co-hosting a webinar, let us know.
- Thank you to all who attend our joint coffee chat with the College & University Archives Section. We had a great turnout and discussion on FERPA, PPII, and other privacy topics led by Ashlyn Velte and Sarah Coates. If you missed it, you can view Ashlyn and Sarah’s slides.
